    How do I start?

    With a 30-minute call. We talk through how you run your operation today: which work recurs every week and what you already have working well.     Do I have to use all of Optivate?

    No. We fit around what you already have. If you already have your own translation setup, a PIM or a set way of working, for example, we leave it in place and connect to it. You only pick the building blocks you need: we advise what fits; you switch off what you don't need.

    How does the trial period work?

    You accept your proposal, by signing or by email. Then you start with a 14-day trial: we set Optivate up on your own store and data, with the building blocks you need, and you're live within a week. If you stop within those 14 days, email us: the agreement ends and you pay nothing. If you don't, your contract runs from day 15.

    What's in the setup?

    Everything to go live: connections to your systems, your tone of voice and rules, checking your historical numbers against the source, and for Content & translation the first complete translation or product import. Then we keep a closer eye for the first 30 days. There's no setup fee: the guided onboarding is included, and falls inside your 14-day trial. Above €50M in revenue, with several stores or brands, or with custom connections, hands-on onboarding can be added. We price that up front in the proposal.

    How long does the setup take?

    Five working days. Day 1 is a 45-minute kick-off, where you give us access using a checklist. On days 2 and 3 we connect everything, import your data and check your cost prices and numbers against Shopify. On day 4 we capture your tone of voice and you approve the first output. On day 5 you're live, with your first morning overview. That falls inside your 14-day trial. We build on your own systems; from you it takes about 2–3 hours in total.

    What do I need to provide?

    Access to Shopify (through the Optivate app) and your ad accounts, and your accounting if you connect it. Your cost prices, or where they are. For Stock & purchasing, the lead times per supplier. For Content & translation, going through your tone of voice once. And one person who approves. About 2–3 hours in total for your team; we do the rest.

    What happens in the 30 days live?

    From day 5 the system runs in your real operation. For the first 30 days we keep a closer eye: every day, and we fix whatever isn't right. That support is included. Up to and including day 14 you can stop by email, at no cost. After that, we keep it running for your fixed monthly price.

    What if the AI makes a mistake?

    Then you see it before it goes live. Nothing goes live without your approval: prices, copy and translations land in your approval queue first. And we monitor the system, so mistakes surface quickly.

    How do I reach you?

    By email and Slack, with one fixed point of contact: one of the people who build the system. There are no standing meetings, but you can always schedule a call.

    What if something breaks?

    We monitor the system ourselves. If you report something, we respond within one working day, and the more serious the issue, the faster we're on it. We fix bugs at no extra cost.

    What if I want something changed?

    Small changes within your building blocks are included in the monthly price, such as adjusting a rule or your tone of voice. If it's real additional work, we do it at a fixed hourly rate. You get a price up front, and we only start after your yes.

    Can I add something later?

    Yes. Adding a building block or connection is something we agree together: we tell you what it costs and when it's ready. Working with other systems than the ones we connect as standard? Choose your own supplier. We build that connection. Optivate OS stays the base, and what you already have working well, we leave in place.

    Am I locked in?

    Not right away. You start with a 14-day trial: stop within it and you pay nothing. After that your contract runs 12 months, then you can cancel monthly. Your data and accounts are in your name, and when it ends, you take your data with you.

    Does Optivate work without Shopify?

    No. Optivate is built for Shopify and Shopify Plus, where every connection is ready. That's why you're live within a week and your price is fixed up front in your proposal.

    And if I need something that isn't in a module?

    Ask for it. We build it in: you pay for the build, with a price up front for each request, and your monthly price stays the same afterward. If it fits the platform, it keeps getting better because more stores use it. The rule of thumb: does the work come back every week, does it live in systems you already have, and can a human approve it? Then we build it.

    Do we need our own developers?

    No. We connect, build, monitor and update. From you we need access to your systems and someone who approves.
